soluble fiber

Tara gum is a soluble fiber. Soluble fiber may lower blood cholesterol by reducing cholesterol absorption from your small intestine. Soluble fiber also slows the rate of starch digestion & glucose absorption following a meal, helping to regulate blood sugar levels & blood pressure.

Prebiotics are the fertilizers for our good bacteria.  These good bacteria have wide spread benefits to many essential bodily functions as well as to overall health. In fact, 70% of serotonin, which influences our mood, resides in the gut. The non-digestible carbohydrates present in guar gum nourish the beneficial bacteria residing in the gut.
